I am often asked, "What is your favorite part of your job?" Plain and simple, the answer is the people. Dentistry is a daily event where I can go and meet and help patients who have various dental concerns. It is fun and rewarding. I decided many years ago that we do not just treat teeth; we at Regis Court Dental Associates treat people.

Building a Strong Foundation for the Future

I attended the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire for my undergraduate education and continued on to Marquette University where I earned my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. I now do my part to keep the tradition of hands-on education alive, having in the past served as a preceptor, training students from Marquette University in my office.

I am an avid believer in continuing education and average over 75 hours of study courses per year. In May of 2007 I received certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support by the American Heart Association. This training supports my recent training in conscious sedation, an addition to our practice that helps me meet the needs of those with severe dental anxiety.

The science and technology of dentistry is changing daily, and we are continuously able to provide higher and higher levels of dental health, comfort, and cosmetic improvement. I am investing in the latest technology, and taking the latest study courses to ensure that I provide patients with updated, comfortable, and affordable dental care.

Outside the Office

I am a native of Eau Claire and live here with my best friend, wife, and #1 dental assistant, Fay. We have eight children and 19 grandchildren who we are very proud of. We have social workers, lawyers, chemists, and real estate construction experts. We have a school teacher, a radiology technician, a son who could advise you on nuclear power plant safety, and a son-in-law who can deliver your baby.

Our days are consumed with dance and piano recitals, wrestling matches, track meets, baseball and soccer games, basketball, plays, and family get-togethers. Our getaway is our family constructed log cabin in the north woods near Ladysmith. There we seek out peace and quiet daily encounters with bear, coyote, deer, porcupines, eagles, fishers and woodchucks. The bass fishing is awesome! Our cabin getaway is a place to light a fire, put up our feet, sit back, read a book, and just plain enjoy what God has given us.
